In your new role you will: Source, procure, install and qualify new and existing capital equipment for our backend semiconductor production lines Manage multiple projects ensuring that they stay on time and within budget Work with Process Engineers and the Maintenance team to create or optimize PM programs for new equipment Work closely with key stakeholder including Facilities, EHS, Industrial Engineering and Operations to ensure new equipment meets all our facility requirements. Provide updates to key management Recommend Capex roadmap; selection, purchase and qualification of new manufacturing equipment Design tools and develop procedures to reduce manufacturing variability and ease operator processes and training Drive improvements to the capital equipment purchasing and qualification processes Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with complicated equipment down issues Support other responsibilities that may be assigned depending on business need You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) degree in engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering Minimum of 3 years' experience in installing and qualifying capital equipment Knowledge of IQ OQ PQ protocols (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification) preferred Knowledge of semiconductor backend processes, such as die attach, wire bond, package sealing, lead, finish, trim and form, and mechanical assemblies preferred Statistical tools, ideally using Minitab, to ensure process equivalence of new equipment Experience in leading continuous improvement teams and optimistic in managing and implementing changes Worked with other teams to deliver customer commitments on manufacturing engineering projects and tasks Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Effective in defining schedules and project completion Experience working in fast-pace and dynamic manufacturing environment.
