We are looking for a Quality Engineer for our plant near Leominster, MA.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be responsible for quality system development and supporting product quality improvements.
• Work independently, training and mentorship junior engineers, technicians, and inspectors. Perform analyses of programs and prepares responsive quality plans, procedures, schedules, and resource allocations for top-quality support.
• Review and approve documentation for tests, engineering, and contractors. While providing input to ensure appropriate requirements are met. Provide quality support which includes internal audits and implementation of root cause corrective actions.
• Provide support for Assembly/Test/Inspection personnel, including executing workmanship improvement plans, developing inspection methods and criteria, specifying appropriate sampling plans, interpreting and revising specifications, and processing non-conforming materials.
• Lead in resolving customer quality issues and driving root causes and corrective action on process and product quality problems.
• You will evaluate and recommend supplier selections and drive continuous improvement processes. This will include leading on-site audits, evaluating prototypes, and reviewing and approving supplier corrective actions. You will oversee the customer quality program.
• Create statistical reports for inspection activities, new products, or process testing and recommend actions.
• Create programs to evaluate production and processing equipment.
  QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
  • At least two years of experience.
  • Experience with ISO and SIX Sigma and ASQ and Black Belt preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of military specs and blueprints.
