Lexington MA 02420 Onsite Requirements: RF / Radio Frequency/
Antenna Engineering MATLAB Python Job Description: The successful
candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team as a RF
communications hardware designer and tester. The successful
candidate should be interested in the inter-disciplinary nature of
the cyber-physical problem space and be willing to develop new
expertise in the pursuit of solving unconventional problems. Your
future projects will focus on prototype applications in the
wireless domain. As a key member of our team, you will contribute
to prototype design, development, and testing, including hardware
and instrumentation software. Required skills include: Knowledge of
wireless technology and communications systems Ability to analyze
and resolve highly complex technical problems quickly and
independently RF/Analog circuit and power conversion circuit design
Experience with electrical concepts pertaining to wireless
communication transmitter and receiver processing chains Experience
with mechanical concepts pertaining to RF power circuits Experience
with MATLAB, Python, and gnuradio Experience with software defined
radios (SDRs) or other communications systems, and applying signal
processing techniques to these systems RF/Microwave lab skills with
proficiency in the operation of lab equipment (e.g. oscilloscope,
multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, digitizer,
arbitrary waveform generator, synthesizer, etc.) A BS degree in
electrical engineering or equivalent experience in the field
Desired skills include: Familiarity with radio-frequency (RF)
phenomenology, electronics, and unintended RF emissions Installing,
deploying and testing of RF equipment and systems An interest in
field test deployments and experiment design Documenting designs
and keeping records of development, procurements and shipments
Providing technical support and advice to colleagues and sponsors
Familiarity with applied AI concepts Skill Matrix: Must Have
Bachelor's Degree Experience Antenna Systems - 5 years Digital and
Wireless Radio/Communications Technology - 5 years Programming
MATLAB - 5 years Python - 5 years RF/Microwave Experience with
laboratory RF test equipment (i.e. spectrum analyzers,
oscilloscopes, etc.) - 5 years RF and Analog Systems - 5 years RF
Receiver Technology - 5 years RF Signals (Antennas, EM Propagation
and Modeling, Down-Conversion Receivers) - 5 years Signal
Processing Analog and Mixed Signal (especially RF) - 5 years
Systems Software Defined Radio - 5 years This client is a US
Federal Government contractor and is legally required to hire US
Citizens. US Citizens will only be considered for this role. Due to
the nature of the work, a United States Government Clearance is
required to be eligible for the position
