Job Description Job Description Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Nashua, NH to bring on a CNC Machine Operator for 1st shift. This is an entry-level manufacturing opportunity for candidates who are eager to learn, have a strong work ethic, and possess foundational knowledge of manufacturing. The company is experiencing significant growth and expects to add operators across all shifts in the future, with first shift being the current priority. Position: CNC Machine Operator Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Pay: $18.00 per hour (up to $20.00 per hour with CNC experience) Duties / Responsibilities • Operate CNC machines by loading and unloading materials and finished parts • Perform basic CNC machining tasks including milling, finishing, and material handling • Read production paperwork and load programs into machines • Perform basic tool changes, set tools, and adjust offsets as needed • Transport jobs through the manufacturing process to other departments • Clean and maintain CNC machines including chip bins, coolant, and lubrication • Read and interpret basic blueprints and geometric tolerances • Inspect parts and make quality decisions based on specifications • Ensure jobs are completed on time to support production schedules • Follow all quality, safety, and standard operating procedures • Escalate issues to shift lead or supervisor as needed • Continuously seek to improve work processes and individual performance • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area • Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required • 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment • Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply Knowledge / Skills / Abilities • Foundational knowledge of CNC manufacturing or related experience preferred • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and height gauges • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Ability to read and follow written instructions and production paperwork • Strong attention to detail and communication skills • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively • Strong teamwork skills • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to SolidWorks or CAD/CAM is a plus • Commitment to continuous learning and growth Physical Requirements / Work Environment • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs as needed • Ability to bend, reach, and grasp during the workday • Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving mechanical parts If you are interested in this position, please apply using the link provided and be sure to include an updated resume.
