Job Description:
You will be the Electro Mechanical Engineer for the Microwave
Electronics Subsystems Team. Our team designs, develops, and
manufactures cutting edge microwave and RF subsystems for aerospace
applications, leveraging modern RF/microwave, analog/digital, and
mechanical/thermal tools alongside world class electronics
fabrication and ESS test facilities. What You Will Be Doing As the
Electro Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for delivering
innovative, multi disciplinary solutions that move concepts from
design through to flight qualified hardware. You will operate at
the intersection of RF, mechanical, and thermal engineering,
collaborating with top tier specialists to solve complex technical
challenges and advance next generation aerospace products. Your
responsibilities will include: • Create and optimize electro
mechanical packaging layouts for microwave components and
subsystems. • Perform 3 D CAD, thermal, structural, and RF
simulations to validate designs against performance, mass, and
reliability targets. • Develop test plans, conduct ESS and
environmental testing, and analyze results to verify compliance. •
Lead prototype build, assembly, and troubleshooting of electronic
assemblies; execute root cause analysis and implement corrective
actions. • Generate detailed engineering documentation:
specifications, drawings, schematics, and test reports. •
Collaborate with RF, digital, mechanical, and manufacturing
engineers to integrate subsystems into larger platforms. •
Contribute to technology road maps and propose new processes or
materials that improve performance and manufacturability. • Mentor
junior engineers and support cross functional design reviews. Why

This position is in Andover, MA. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This
position is located at a facility that requires special access. The
selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A
company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start. Basic
Qualifications Three years’ experience with all aspects of
mechanical design and test, including layout and design
documentation. Proficiency with Pro Engineer CREO and Windchill or
equivalent is required. Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e.
Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Excellent writing and verbal
communication skills for generating analysis plans and reports,
documentation and proposals are necessary. Candidate must be a US
Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense
Secret Clearance. Desired skills Experience with electronics
packaging for microwave electronics. Experience working with
production hardware, processes and testing. Experience with
documenting engineering changes and releasing production level

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

Massachusetts, and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
