The DTC team has a start-up mindset - nimble, clever, fast and creative - with the support of the larger EBSCO organization. The ideal candidate will be excited by the opportunity to launch and grow new businesses, with visibility to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional at defining products, driving concepts from planning to implementation and calmly adjusting course for product market fit and growth.What You'll Do:Understand our products' evolving strategic and competitive positionsDeeply understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors and transform that knowledge into a cohesive roadmap of features that align to growth goalsDevelop business requirements, financial models and functional details for new features or enhancementsHands-on manage products throughout their lifecycle, from planning to launch, including collaborating directly with design, engineering, analytics, and user research teamsMake decisions based on quantitative, qualitative, and competitive data.Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators to monitor proactively the health of the businessDefine, monitor, and analyze key conversion metrics to support continual optimization of the product(s)Communicate the state of projects across teams, stakeholders as well as executives.What We Seek:The ideal candidate sits comfortably at the intersection between business, technology and user experience, with direct experience in at least one and deep fluency with practitioners in all.
