Join us as a Licensed Practical NursePer Diem Requirement: 5 Shifts per month inclusive of 2 weekend shiftsAs a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, you'll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. A Licensed Practical Nurse is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. In exchange, we will care for you, as much as you care for our patients.How You Care for Our PatientsAs a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will care for individuals in need of psychiatric, emotional, and substance use treatment. You will be a champion for our patients and support the team around you. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in TaraVistas' core principles. The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of the Registered Nurse.You Bring Meaningful ExperienceSuccessful candidates will have the following:Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of MassachusettsCPR certificationKnowledge of behavior health and substance use disorders treatment modalitiesAbility to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundariesPrevious experience is preferred in psychiatric or substance use disorder inpatient, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis interventionTaraVista Behavioral Health Center is a regional inpatient treatment center serving Middlesex County, Worcester County and Southern New Hampshire.
