Job Summary and Qualifications The Sonographer will perform diagnostic medical ultrasound examinations as requested by referring physicians. The Sonographer will create a therapeutic environment for pediatric, adolescent, adult and older adult patients and their families and carry out functions in a manner consistent with total quality care. What qualifications you will need:
  Education:
  
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent experience.
    
    Experience:
    
    • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is desirable.
      
      • Vascular Experience Preferred
        
        Licensure/Certification:
        
        • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
          
          • Registered or Registry Eligible, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
            
            • RVT/RVS within 12 months of hire
              
              • Must renew certification and/or registration annually with 30 hours of continuing education for your triennium
                
                • Licensed in the State of New Hampshire with the Board of Medical Imaging& Radiation Therapy.
