Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Bristol, CT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,084 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 Hours Hours per Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm / on call Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required License: License required Certifications: CPR/BLS required, COVID Vaccine required Must-Have: Previous travel experience required, Scrubbing required Description: We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse with a minimum of five years of experience. The position will require working 8-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties. The unit consists of 8 surgical suites averaging 15-25 cases per day. Common cases include Urology, Gynecology, Robotics, Orthopedics, Spine, Plastics, and Bariatrics. The RN will work alongside 6 surgical techs and will have the opportunity to take charge as an OR Charge Nurse. This position does not require previous experience with specific charting systems as training will be provided. A separate call rotation for travelers will start after regular staff pick their call shifts, with fluctuations depending on staffing. The call response time is 30 minutes. There is no floating requirement for this position. The dress code consists of turquoise scrubs. This role supports an acute care setting at a trauma level facility.
