Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: Contract Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours guaranteed Experience: 2 years in an acute care setting required, travel experience preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must have medical-surgical/telemetry experience - Completion of an Advanced Dysrhythmia course within 72 hours of acceptance - Skills checklist matching specialty - EMR experience preferred: Cerner - Experience with Cardizem and Insulin Drips (insulin for hyperglycemia, not DKA) and Phenobarbital on telemetry Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in medical-surgical and telemetry settings. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care environment. An active RN license is required at the time of submission. Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Must complete an Advanced Dysrhythmia course within 72 hours of acceptance. Ideal candidates will have experience with Cardizem and Insulin Drips. Experience floating to different units may be requested. First-time travelers with good experience will be considered. Up-to-date resume is necessary for submission.
