Job Description Job Description Job Title: Medical Assistant - Cardiology (Worcester, MA) Responsibilities/ Job Duties: Rooming patients EKG's Blood pressure's (manual) Pre chart prep (reviewing and updating patient records in EMR pre visit) Using Athena for EMR Ability to manage high patient volume Medication reconciliation Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: 1 year Medical Assistant Experience Medical Assistant Diploma/Certification Ability to perform manual blood pressure Schedule/ Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (40 hrs a week) Monday, Weds, Thurs, Fri 8am-4:30pm; Tues 8am-12:30pm (36 hrs a week) Monday, Tues, Thurs 7am-4pm; Weds 8am-1pm; Fri 8am-2pm (35 hrs a week) Benefits: Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances) Health Benefits / Dental / Vision ( Medix Offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
