Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/31/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel MICU RN – Nights & EOW (36 or 48 hrs/week | Floating Required)/nUnit: Level III Trauma Center – 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU/nFacility: 400 bed community hospital (220 Med/Surg beds specialty units)/nFree On-Site Parking/n/nRequirements:/n/n2 years Adult ICU experience/n/n2 years continuous experience in one location (preferably MICU)/n/nMust be able to read Tele strips (Telemetry competency required)/n/nActive Massachusetts RN License/n/nBLS & ACLS required/n/nEMR: EPIC/n/nUnit Details:/n/nPatient Types: Substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, cardiogenic shock/n/nAttendings & Residents onsite 24/7/n/nRN Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 (high acuity) | 1:4–1:5 when floated/n/nFloating:/n/nRequired (primarily to Med/Surg units; up to 4–5 patients)/n/nSchedule:/n/nNight shift (no rotation)/n/nDay positions rotate (7a–7p, 11a–11p, or 7p–7a) About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
