Job Description Inpatient Psychiatrist Opening – Bristol, VABoard-Certified Psychiatrist licensed in Virginia and Tennessee (or willing to obtain VA licensure) to join an inpatient behavioral health program. A 28-bed adult psychiatric unit serving Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.Schedule Flexible scheduling model (open to discussion) 7 on / 7 off or Monday–Friday 24/7 referral and admission availabilityPractice Highlights Daily rounds with a Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Advanced Practitioner Comprehensive therapeutic services including: Individual psychotherapy Group psychotherapy Recreational therapy Pharmacologic management Family therapy On-site case management, court services, and educational support Strong collaboration with Community Service Boards (CSBs) and court systems Support for a new 24/7 Behavioral Health Walk-In service launching mid-2026Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Call pay plus weekend shift pay Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Paid Time Off (PTO) Continuing Medical Education (CME)* Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision
