Job Description:
This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist
working day shifts, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The
technologist will support minimally invasive image-guided
procedures in a Level I trauma environment, primarily serving adult
patients. The role involves working closely with interventional
radiologists, nurses, and procedural teams to assist with
diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. In addition to regular shift
coverage, the technologist will participate in an on-call rotation,
with additional call coverage possible depending on departmental
needs. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to
detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced
procedural setting. Maintaining high standards of patient safety
and imaging accuracy is essential while assisting in advanced
radiologic procedures within the interventional radiology
department. Requirements: Candidates must hold active certification
through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and
maintain current Basic Life Support certification. A minimum of two
years of experience in interventional radiology or advanced
radiologic procedures is required. Applicants must have recent
experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system within
the past two years, which is considered mandatory. Experience
working in a trauma-level hospital environment is strongly
preferred. Candidates must also provide proof of appropriate state
licensure or documentation showing that licensure is in process at
the time of submission. Applicants must submit a complete work
history including facility details and explanations for employment
gaps longer than 90 days. Reliable transportation is required due
to limited access to public transportation in the area.
