Direct Care Worker - Central Mass ($25/hr) One of the agencies of the largest secretariat that offers services and supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and children with developmental disabilities is currently looking for a Direct Care Worker to provide direct care services and assist them with the activities of daily living What To Know: - $25 per hour pay rate - Must have daily access to a vehicle - Multiple shifts are available; must be available for some weekend shifts Responsibilities: - Providing support, encouragement, and companionship by engaging clients in activities - Arranging or providing transportation to appointments, supermarkets, etc. - Helping clients with self-care, such as toileting, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth - Assisting clients with ambulation and mobility as needed Requirements and Skills: - Must have a valid, current driver's license - CPR and First Aid certification is required - Must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification - Dependable, reliable, and caring There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
