Job Description:

New England Wire Products, Inc. is searching for IT Help Desk Support to join our growing Team!Primary responsibility is to provide technical support to all New England Wire employees using company computers, printers, networks, software and services. Additionally, perform support, maintenance and upgrade tasks for servers and networks across all location. Ensure employees have the hardware, software and security training to achieve their goals. This is an on-site only.Responsibilities:

• Day to day support of servers, networks, desktops, notebooks, displays, company-owned printers, and ancillary devices
• Communicate problems and resolutions with MSP
• Maintain Active Directory/Microsoft 365 users and computers on account creation, passwords, permissions and other changes
• Maintain VOIP systems and equipment
• Assess existing systems and communicate equipment and software needs to IT management
• Participate in IT Projects to improve security, capacity and reliability
• Maintain and contribute to IT systems documentation
• Along with your main duties, you will also be expected to carry out any other duties that are reasonably asked of you.Qualifications:
  • Degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience as an IT System Admin or in a similar position
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to inexperienced users
  • Time management skills
  • Willingness to work with others in a fast paced environment
