Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated CDL Utility Driver to join
our team and contribute to our mission of ensuring safety,
sustainability, and environmental protection through our services
across North America. This pivotal role demands a responsible and
efficient individual ready to handle materials categorized as
hazardous and manage emergencies with diligence. Our ideal
candidate would possess the expertise to operate a variety of
vehicles and be knowledgeable of federal and state regulations
governing the transportation and handling of such materials.
Operate Class A and B vehicles in compliance with company policies
and legal regulations. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste
while adhering to federal and state regulations. Participate in
loading and unloading materials, ensuring all safety protocols are
followed. Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles to
ensure operational efficiency. Respond to emergencies and spills
per company guidelines, collaborating with other response teams.
Record and maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by
law and company policy. Collaborate with logistics and route
managers to improve route efficiencies and maintain compliance with
environmental regulations. Ability to maneuver various vehicles
safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and
safety standards. Effective communication and documentation skills.
Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and exposure to
hazardous materials. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A or B Commercial
Driver's License (CDL) with hazardous material and tanker
endorsements. Training certificates in hazardous waste management
and emergency response (e.g., OSHA, HAZWOPER).
