quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time
(40 hrs/wk) Clinician in Leominster, MA working Monday through
Friday 1st shift!!
The North County Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) serves clients
who are admitted due to struggle with a mental health crisis often
additionally struggling with substance abuse. Our clients enter the
program with an evaluation and client history completed by a
qualified clinician prior to admission. The CSU may be used as a
diversion to prevent a hospitalization or as a step-down
immediately following a psychiatric hospital discharge to assist
the client in transitioning back into the community. The unit
receives admissions 24 hours/day, 365 days/year depending on bed
availability (13 beds) for clients who do not need hospital level
of care and meet the unit's admission criteria. Although a
voluntary program, individuals must remain on the unit for the
duration of their stay for safety and treatment purposes. Clients
meet with a multi-disciplinary team to aid with following their
individualized treatment plan and meet their treatment goals as
well as a psychiatric workup and medication evaluation.
The population includes both males and females that are at least
18 years of age.
Clinicians thoroughly assess issues of suicide, homicide,
inability to care for self and impairment in judgment. Once an
assessment is completed Clinicians work with the individual and
his/her supports, both formal and informal, to coordinate the next
phase of treatment.

* Provide counseling services to clients of the Crisis
Stabilization Unit, including daily counseling sessions,
comprehensive assessments, collateral contacts, treatment planning,
and group treatment when feasible.
* Coordinate service referrals as necessary and coordinate

* Grade 7- Clinician III: Masters degree in a clinical course of
study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and
family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic
requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work,
marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the individual is licensed as a
Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a licensed Clinical Social Worker
(LCSW), a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or is
actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of
* Grade 8- Clinician IV: Masters degree in a clinical course of
study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and
LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
* Must be licensed or license eligible- LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or
CAGS. * Commitment to providing outstanding care.
* Must have excellent clinical, written and verbal skills.
* 1-2 years of experience preferred working in a fast paced
medical clinic, trauma, or respite setting and/or providing medical
services to homeless individuals either in clinic or community
based settings is preferred.
