Open Sky Community Services offers clinicians full-time, salaried positions with a wide range of benefits including twenty-nine paid days off in the first year which increases to thirty-two days off in year two. Clinicians also receive free CEU trainings through our own recognized Training Institute, weekly clinical supervision, and extensive in-house training and consultation from experts in the field of mental health and evidence based practices.


Position specifics:

This unique Community Mental Health position offers a clinician the opportunity to support individuals with mental health challenges in Residential, Supported Housing and Community settings. The Clinician will be trained in and take the lead in providing Innovative Evidence Based Practices (EBPs), including Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) and Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R.) The position, located in Worcester.

 

The clinician will:

  • Receive intensive training in Evidence Based Practices with participation in supportive clinical consultation teams.
  • Build relationships with individuals served and develop shared understanding of Person's goals and the steps necessary to achieve goals. Along with this, all clinicians will demonstrate respect for all Persons regardless of ability status, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or ethnicity.
  • Complete all screening and enrollment of persons served referred to ACCS in compliance with DMH regulations, including initial and ongoing assessments for risk and protectivce factors using agency risk assessmnet protocols and tools. 
  • Complete individual sessions, facilitate support groups and treatment planning meetings with individuals served.
  • Providing clinical consultation and training to staff in the integrated teams providing these treatments.
  • Develop and implement Comprehensive Assessments and Individualized Treatment Plans using Person Centered Planning. 
  • Collaborate with applicable Care Coordination Entities, Emergency Service Providers, outpatient clinics, and other providers/entities to share information and ensure that the needs of the person are fully met. 
  • Develop productive affiliations and partnerships with other community-based providers to enhance the agency's service delivery network.
  • Participate in On-Call rotation and critical incident review process.
  • Obtain and maintain MAP certification.

Master's Degree in social services Field. Must be a licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC. LRC, LADAC I, physician, RN OTR/L or Psychologist) or License Eligible as well as two years of professional experience working. Valid driver's licenses required.
