These include waste-to-energy facilities, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and fleets of rail cars and collection vehicles. We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper and metals from the waste stream. Our facility is currently seeking a Line Operator. The Line Operator ensures that the products coming into the facility meets our highest standards. These individuals need to be technically savvy as they perform many machine adjustment and maintenance tasks in a day. Essential Functions: Running all equipment on the production line Startup and shutdown of utilities and equipment Competent operation of fillers, washers, palletizers and conveyors Maintain line efficiency through seamless supply of empty packaging and removal of full packaging Close monitoring of cooperage quality and removing cooperage in need of repair Ensure accurate and legible coding and labeling of all containers Routine daily maintenance of all equipment Address all product quality issues immediately and stop line if issues can't be corrected quickly Help to maintain accurate and detailed daily run logs Maintain an orderly and safe work environment within department as well as entire facility Participate in regular departmental meetings to review issues and propose solutions Maintain personal appearance and conduct reflective of professionalism and pride in WIN Waste Innovations Follow all company policies as detailed in employee handbook attendance, safety, IT protocols, etc Contributing to positive work environment through open and constructive dialog Contribute and receptive to continual innovation and improvements Assist in other departments or perform other tasks as needed Qualifications: Previous experience in a waste or manufacturing environment a plus Proper use of PPE OSHA approved Forklift certification Attention to details At WIN Waste Innovations, each eligible employee receives a competitive total compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Short Term Disability.
