Salary: USD $64,000.00/Yr.Description and Responsibilities:The DDS Autism Spectrum Disorder program provides services to adults 22 years and older with Autism Spectrum Disorder who are being served by the Department of Developmental Disabilities and aims to help individuals navigate a variety of social settings and teach individuals to interpret social cues. ASD provides specialized clinical services which include Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies. The program also serves adults with Acquired Brain Injury who are referred by the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission with the goal of providing individualized services to help adults live independently, in their own apartment. Services include finding accessible housing, coordinating healthcare, supervising PCAs and arranging for transportation.In this role, the Clinician will provide mobile clinical case management support to individuals in Northern Worcester County with Acquired Brain Injury and those on the Autism Spectrum. They will coordinate with other members of the treatment team including family members, DDS, day programs, personal providers, and allied health providers including the VNA.Key responsibilities include:Establish engagement with individuals served employing Motivational Interviewing/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills.Participate in treatment planning in order to develop appropriate, effective and achievable treatment goals and objectives.Facilitate therapeutic groups with people served/staff.Prepare Individualized Positive Behavioral Supports, Targeted/Intensive Plans and Medication Treatment plans for individuals living in the homes as clinically indicated.Qualifications:Master's Degree in social services field, requiredMust be License Eligible or be a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC.
