Location: Cambridge, MA, (Hybrid)#LI-HybridThis role will be based out of Cambridge, MA, working on-site 3-4 days per week.Job PurposeThe US People and Organization (P&O) team is seeking a People Partner to support the BR, Novartis Biomedical Research organization.Our People Partners serve as trusted advisors, offering policy expertise and support to leaders, managers, and associates on all P&O topics during key moments. They support divisional groups in delivering lifecycle events, employee value propositions, talent acquisition, management, learning, performance, employee relations, rewards, pay, and reporting. They also lead P&O change initiatives at the country level, collaborating with Business and Senior People Partners, and adapt support to meet evolving business needs.About the RoleMajor Accountabilities:
- Serve as the first escalation point for leaders and managers on P&O topics, providing expert advice, guidance, and support. Ensure credible P&O partnering, coaching managers on role evaluations, and advising on Team Effectiveness and Psychological Safety.
- Implement P&O initiatives aligned with the overall strategy, ensuring high-quality processes and supporting corporate culture and initiatives.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify risks and trends, informing decisions and actions.
- Incorporate customer feedback to improve the employee experience and adjust processes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local EEO and diversity regulations.
- Manage in-country transformations, legal consultations, and restructuring lifecycle activities.
- Oversee organizational structure changes in line with regulations and policies.
- Manage Employee Relations in accordance with local laws and Novartis standards, coaching managers and associates.
- Handle internal mobility and movement offers.
- Build relationships within the P&O community to drive continuous improvement.
- Support and coach leaders and managers on P&O topics,
promoting self-sufficiency and providing guidance on policies and
processes.Qualifications:
- BA Degree in HR or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in P&O, with at least 3+ years supporting complex organizations in the US. Global organization experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills; proactive, responsive, independent work capability, stakeholder management, and cross-boundary collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in facilitation, influencing, project management, people analytics, employee relations, risk and change management.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Experience across various organizations nationwide.The salary
range at start is estimated between $98,700 and $183,300 annually,
subject to market fluctuations and individual factors. Compensation
may include bonuses, stock units, and benefits such as health,
retirement, and paid time off. Final salary decisions depend on
