Job Description:
**Position requires ability to relocate to unanticipated
locations throughout the U.S. Duties: Configure, monitor, and support network service
assurance products and solutions for the client’s Enterprise and 4G/LTE wireless
networks. Implement strategic LTE, IMS and next generation projects for
clients in accordance with network management best practices. Leverage
knowledge of LTE/ IMS, wireless data networks and Linux operating system to
maintain high availability of the product suite on-site, as well as
ensure continuous and ongoing access to the critical data provided by
network monitoring products. Coordinate product configuration changes
and upgrades, as well as perform ongoing maintenance of complex product
deployment. Apply knowledge of 3GPP/3GPP2/IETF standards and IP technologies
to provide documented in-depth technical solutions and training for
engineers, as well as contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of
customer network performance, procedures, and infrastructure. Provide
technical guidance in troubleshooting and root causing 3G/4G, IMS and
VoLTE issues and outages. Interface with Support, Sales, Development, and SQA
teams in order to identify and resolve client issues as per the defined
SLAs. Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or related field
(willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience
supporting and delivering Telecom infrastructure for 3G and 4G networks or,
alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience as noted above.
Also requires: 1) Demonstrated expertise performing packet network
engineering of voice and data nodes on 3G and 4G networks and Cisco routers
and switches; 2) Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end architecture,
call flows, and troubleshooting of 3GPP/3GPP2 wireless networks, including
CDMA 1X/EVDO, UMTS, and LTE; 3) Demonstrated expertise working at
client sites to monitor and ensure network stability of enterprise and
wireless network applications and protocols, including IP Multicast (PIM), DNS,
SIP, RTP, GTP, and GRE; and, 4) Demonstrated expertise working with IP
routing & switching, IP/MPLS, VoIP, Ethernet technologies, and
troubleshooting carrier-grade backhaul and core networks, and automating
