Job Description:
New England Wire Products (NEWP) designs and manufactures custom
wire rack displays for clients in the beverage, home center,
grocery, convenient store industries, as well as many others. We
provide our clients with high quality, in-house design,
engineering, manufacturing, powder coating, and printing services,
and customer service. NEWP has over 600,000 square feet of
manufacturing space across Massachusetts, Georgia, and Maine. NEWP
has a salesforce presence nationwide and has been growing steadily
over the last 43 years. We are looking for a Sales Operations
Analyst who is proactive, detail oriented, organized, able to
multi-task, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
The Sales Operations Analyst will join the sales teams to help
achieve their business goals. This highly visible role reports to
the Sales Director and will contribute to day-to-day support of
sales as well as driving strategic initiatives to improve sales
productivity, accurate reporting, intelligence, and planning. As
the Sales Operations Analyst, you will support the organization by
ensuring the output of reliable and accurate reporting, analysis
and other operational requirements that support the sales
organization. You would be a key contributor to ongoing sales
activities and sales reporting. You must be able to work in fast
paced on-site work environment, be self-motivated, extremely
detail-oriented with demonstrated problem solving and
decision-making skills. Key responsibilities - Provide operational
support for the sales team on systems and processes - Support
assigned aspects of sales operations - Develop accurate reporting
and insights on sales performance with Salesforce - Support sales
on-boarding and on-going sales training as a subject matter expert
- Contribute to on-the-job coaching as well as training content and
delivery - Develop, socialize, and evolve a winning sales content
and training strategy - Coach sales managers and develop their
ability to improve team performance - Generate weekly, monthly, and
quarterly operational dashboards and reports for the Sales
organization to provide actionable insights and drive decision
making - Provide revenue insights and analysis to inform
decision-making - Proactively monitor the quality of supporting
sales data and highlight areas for improvement - Perform deep dive
analysis on any reporting questions/concerns from leadership -
Develop best practices that align sales analytics with company
initiatives - Assist with ad hoc tasks and analysis to support the
organization - Understand the business unit objectives (types of
desired business, target pricing levels, etc.) and act accordingly
in day-to-day activities - Report on key performance indicators and
metrics to assess sales effectiveness and achievement of the
function's goals and objectives
Beneficial Skills And Experience - Previous experience in sales
operations and/or sales enablement, ideally within manufacturing -
A thoughtful, systematic approach to systems and processes - A
focus on investments that deliver robust, repeatable and scalable
outcomes - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - A
self-starter, who will create sales enablement materials themselves
as well as leading others - Ability to manage across boundaries and
communicate effectively with Sales, HR, Finance and Marketing -
Experience with Salesforce and data reporting toolsRequirements -
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related
field - 2+ years of relevant experience in sales operations -
Ability to work in a high-intensity environment - High attention to
detail and ability to meet tight deadlines - Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills with sound business judgement - Excellent
presentation skills and an ability to build simplified professional
reports and slide decks - Excel expert and comfortable with MS
Office Suite - Solid understanding of Salesforce CRM data model and
reporting
