Job SummaryAs an Equipment Maintenance Technician at Jabil, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Working under close supervision, you will perform a variety of tasks that require limited judgment and decision-making to complete.Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct feeder maintenance, repair, and data tracking to optimize production.
• Train employees in the operation and maintenance of machinery to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
• May train and coordinate activities of Maintenance Assistants (MAs) to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
• Provide assistance in troubleshooting non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.Requirements
  • Able to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Use of basic and special-purpose hand tools and leveling instruments, knowledge of torque specifications, basic mathematics, understanding of electronic color codes, and other component value markings.
  • Understanding of safety practices requirements and personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and e-mail).
  • Use of specialized maintenance tracking programs.Education and Experience
    • Associates degree in electronics with emphasis in servo positioning theory or equivalent discipline.
    • Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant (MA) may be substituted.
